Paul is a really nice guy, always smiling chatty and friendly. He works really hard and cleans up any mess he makes. Always tries to work around you as much as he is able to. Finished the job and we are really pleased with it and we have booked him to come and do our wallpapering 😀

We had Paul come and redecorate our new house after moving in and what a fantastic job he did for us! We had wallpaper to remove, cracks to fill and so many repairs but he's managed to do it all and give us an amazing transformation. The stairs and hallway were especially bad but it looks like a completely different house now. I would highly recommend you to anyone and we were very lucky to find you. Thanks again

Probably one of the most challenging spaces I've had the pleasure of redecorating. There were a total of 9 doorways to wallpaper and lay flooring around in this hallway. So although not huge in surface area, a lot of thought was put into measuring and planning the layout and I probably spent as much time in here as I did in the bedroom and living room combined. The old wallpaper came off well and thankfully there was no need for lining paper this time. A total of 7 rolls were needed to paper above the rail. The flooring was also very time consuming with an uneven sub floor to deal with and very high undercuts to the door frame and skirting from previous layers of flooring. After laying the floor and I had lots of Scotia to cut and mitre the ends. The outcome was well worth the effort and I'm very proud of this one.

Living room this time and a very similar task as the master bedroom with wallpapering a feature wall and laminate flooring to finish off. Only difference being the feature wall was switched to the opposite side of the room and I lined and painted the other wall instead. Another nice transformation.

The master bedroom for a previous customer here. First the feature wall was stripped of the old wallpaper, which came off rather easily but sadly the wall was wasn't in very good condition. So after some repairs I sanded and sealed the bare plaster and lined the wall with 1400 grade lining paper to give a much better surface to work with. After some other minor repairs in the room I was able to give 2 top coats to the ceiling, walls and woodwork. I then papered the wall with a total of 8 drops. My final task was to cut and lay the laminate flooring and finish of the edges with scotia.

Master bedroom. For the same customer who'd had some poor work done by a previous decorator. The wardrobe doors were in a very poor state with emulsion painted straight over gloss which was peeling off and some attempts made to repair around the hinges without taking the doors off... So after removing them I sanded thoroughly, primed, filled and sanded again. All before giving 3 top coats of satin. The hinges were cleaned and the doors hung back up On to the wallpaper next and the wall was in bad condition also. So I stabilized the surface and lined with lining paper before hanging 3 rolls of wallpaper. The walls and woodwork were painted white with the same system used in the kitchen.

Another new kitchen here. Sadly this time a previous decorator had not done what was asked and skipped a lot of the preparation work. Resulting in a poor finish and visible cracks still. So the room was prepared again and the necessary repairs carried out. Lots of time was put in to the areas around the sockets and switches. The silicone around the door and window was also removed in preparation for a new unit fitted later that week 2 coats of zinsser all clean scrubbable Matt were applied to the walls and satin for the door and woodwork.

The first room of many that I have redecorated for this customer. They had recently fitted a brand new kitchen but removing the old units had left a lot of damage. I had a hairline crack to deal with and lot of damage to the walls. But as you can see from the pictures, after some good prep and a couple of skims of filler the damage was no longer visible.

Colour drench in burgundy. My customer wanted his study completely redecorated and before I even arrived had a new plaster ceiling rose and cornice installed. I was then tasked with repairing the holes from previous picture rails and sealing the plaster ready for paint. In total, 3 coats of emulsion were needed and the woodwork including the windows and frame were primed and given 2 coats of eggshell.

A few before and after shots of a big job I completed. The kitchen ceiling was huge and needed some hairline cracks repaired. I also repaired a number of large holes from pictures and a tv bracket, which are now invisible. The rest of the house was given 2 coats of crown clean extreme durable matt.

One of my more interesting jobs here. I was asked to cut and attach panelling to a feature wall and finish in a durable matt paint. After carefully measuring and securely attaching the MDF pieces I applied primer and sanded all the edges. After a thorough clean, 2 coats were all that was needed to finish.
